Most Liked

The location stands out for its quality fish and chips. Diners rave about the freshness and preparation of dishes like the haddock and scampi. The outdoor seating is a big hit, especially during the warmer months, allowing guests to soak in the ocean views. Friendly staff frequently receive commendations, reflecting a commitment to customer service. The loyalty card incentive adds a layer of appreciation for regular patrons, making visits even more rewarding. Moreover, the café’s selection of desserts and great coffee enhances the overall experience, attracting those looking to indulge after a meal.

Most Disliked

While many enjoy their meals, some note that during peak hours, service can lag slightly as the restaurant gets busy. Specific mention arises around Sundays, where capacity often reaches full, leading to longer waits. Additionally, the restaurant's ambience may feel too casual for diners seeking a more upscale setting. Dietary restrictions might present a challenge, as the menu predominantly focuses on traditional seafood options, occasionally leaving vegetarian patrons wanting. Parking can present a slight inconvenience during busy times, despite ample availability overall, especially for those unfamiliar with the area’s layout.

The food was served tasty, freshly prepared & hot. Friendly staff & a nicely presented cafe. There is a loyalty card for free drinks when you've purchased the required number of drinks. You can sit outside when the weather is suitable. There are great views looking out over the bay. There is adequate parking around the cafe.

Level access suitable for manual and electric wheelchairs (I brought one of each!). Having entered my car reg on the tablet at the Please Wait Here sign, we were met with a friendly smile attached to a very courteous and welcoming member of staff. They carefully considered the needs of both wheelchair users and offered a choice of appropriate tables. The haddock, scampi, and (vegetarian) panini arrived quicker than expected, and all three were prepared perfectly. While eating, I had a look around to count the number of signs that reminded customers to enter their car registrations to qualify for free parking for the rest of the day - they are really hard to miss! So it looks like management have really made the effort to communicate this to customers to save getting caught out after the 30 min grace period. I made a round trip of 200 miles to pick up my Dad to take him here - he really enjoyed this day out, thanks all 😊

What a hidden gem! Perfect for a post walk cup of coffee and a tea cake ;) You can park right outside which is a huge plus and if the weather is fine you can sit outside right by the ocean. Does it get any better?! Also you get some pretty cute visitors to your table who may not be welcomed by all but are huge plus in my eyes.
